LaJobi Partners With Kathy Ireland For Nursery Products

Infant and juvenile furniture maker LaJobi Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement with Kathy Ireland Worldwide for an exclusive nursery product line.
The companies are introducing a Kathy Ireland line of wood nursery furniture, glider chairs, ottomans and crib mattresses. Cribs in the collection will convert to toddler, day or a full-size bed, allowing the furniture to grow with the child. Items from the collection debuted this week at the High Point Market.
Stephen Roseberry, president and COO of Kathy Ireland Worldwide, told HomeWorld Business that the companies envision distribution in home furnishings and baby specialty stores as well as furniture stores and warehouse clubs.
LaJobi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kid Brands, Inc., a designer, importer, marketer and distributor of infant and juvenile consumer products. LaJobi produces juvenile furniture under the Bonavita, Babi Italia, Europa Baby, Graco and, for crib mattresses, Serta brands.
